2014 Mud Gauntlet
The 1st annual S.T.A.P. Mud Gauntlet saw 400 particpants attack the challenging NEWBSANITY course. Traversing the obstacles proved difficult with knee deep mud, ice cold water and obstacles that towered as tall as 25ft. The 10K elite heat kicked off the day with Jarrett Newby crossing the line as the first male finisher and Jennifer Reis as the first female finisher. The next seven waves of participants went running, crawling and slipping their way through the course. Following the finish was a complimentary chicken barbeque and the always entertaining NEWBSANITY awards ceremony. We would like to thank the Southern Tier Aids Program as we worked with them to help raise money for a great cause. Finally, a special shout out goes to all of the local volunteers that helped make this event a success.
